Broward Health Foundation Young President's Council Gets Their Toes in the Sand at Barefoot on the Beach
More than 150 local young professionals got their toes in the sand for a great cause at the Broward Health Foundation’s Young President’s Council inaugural Barefoot on the Beach. More than $67,000 was raised to benefit Chris Evert Children’s Hospital. Highlights of the event included a raffle drawing for a trip to Atlantis Resort in Paradise Island, Bahamas; delicious food; drinks; and dancing.
The Young President’s Council is a recently formed fundraising group consisting of individuals, 45 years of age and younger, who make an annual gift of $500 or more to the Broward Health Foundation. The YPC is comprised of young professionals in the community with a goal of raising funds and awareness for the Chris Evert Children’s Hospital.
