With breast cancer rates on the rise and the rolls of the uninsured women increasing, the Coral Springs Medical Center’s Lisa Boccard Breast Cancer Fund works tirelessly year-round to ensure women (in northwest Broward County) in financial need receive free mammograms and proper breast medical care. The goal is early detection which is when the chances of survival are much greater. To date the fund has provided more than 500 mammograms and identified nearly 30 women with breast cancer and provided follow-up treatment.
In order to accomplish the mission of the Lisa Boccard Breast Cancer Fund, ongoing education and fundraising need to be accomplished and Lisa herself has been an integral part of both – even as she lives with cancer and chemotherapy. Upcoming highlights include:
October 12 – Mammo-Palooza Ladies Night Out

October 29 - Second Annual Have A Heart Golf Tournament
