Healthcare Strategist Bradford Koles to Discuss the State of Healthcare in the U.S. at Nelson Mullins Broad and Cassel South Florida Health Forum

Bradford “Ford” Koles, a veteran healthcare strategist and Executive Director and National Speaker of the Advisory Board, will headline the 2018 South Florida Health Forum, an annual gathering hosted by Nelson Mullins Broad and Cassel with national and local experts who will share the latest issues and trends in the industry with physicians and healthcare professionals.

The Forum takes place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 3, 2018 at Signature Grand in Davie, FL. Admission is free, but registration is required.

Koles will give the keynote presentation on the national state of healthcare.

Koles is a healthcare economist by training with a wide range of experience in the provider industry. He has been a participant in every major Advisory Board research initiative since 1992, leaving him conversant in the history and current status of all the significant reform initiatives: coverage expansion, vertical integration and physician partnership models, managed care and payer contracting, horizontal integration and system economics of scale, and quality-based payment.

Following the keynote presentation, there will be three panel discussions with industry experts that will be moderated by members of the Nelson Mullins Broad and Cassel health law practice group, including partners Mike Segal, Michael Bittman, and Lester Perling. Topics will cover cybersecurity and privacy, enforcement and compliance issues, and the latest developments in mergers and acquisitions.

Effective Aug. 1, 2018, Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP merged with Broad and Cassel LLP, which will do business as Nelson Mullins Broad and Cassel in Florida. The combined firm has over 750 attorneys and professionals operating in 25 offices across 11 states and the District of Columbia.
