JFK Medical Center Expands in Palm Beach County with New Emergency Services Facility in Palm Beach Gardens

The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County (BDB) just announced that it has assisted JFK Medical Center with its primary building search and secured their expansion. JFK Medical Center, located in Atlantis, will open an Emergency Services Facility this fall in the Midtown Center in Palm Beach Gardens.

The 10,000 square foot center will have 40 employees and will be available 24/7 for both emergency and non-emergency patients.

BDB assisted JFK with its initial building search and worked closely with JFK staff and City of Palm Beach Gardens building department to facilitate expedited review and processing of their building permit application. BDB began working with JFK on this expansion project in October 2010.

Kelly Smallridge, President & CEO, Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, Inc. said, “We were delighted to work closely with JFK staff and City of Palm Beach Gardens on this new emergency care facility. When corporate executives are comparing states and communities for potential business relocation and expansion sites they place access to quality health care very high on their checklist.”
