Rosello New CEO at Baptist Hospital

Bo Boulenger, Executive VP & Chief Operating Officer for Baptist Health South Florida, announced the appointment of Patricia Rosello, R.N., as the new Chief Executive Officer for Baptist Hospital. Rosello has served as CEO for Baptist Outpatient Services since 2003. In this role, she has led a division of more than 1,100 employees and 800 physicians that included Baptist Health’s freestanding diagnostic imaging centers, urgent care and express care centers, Care on Demand, executive health, sleep and endoscopy centers, as well as ambulatory surgery. Under her leadership, BOS has attained some of the highest levels of patient, employee and physician satisfaction in the system while undergoing unprecedented volume and revenue growth.

With both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Barry University, Patricia began her career as a staff nurse at Pan American Hospital. She grew quickly in the organization, promoted first to the Assistant Vice President of Patient Care and then to Vice President of Operations where she had operational and fiscal control of six divisions that included nursing, surgical services, home healthcare, mental health, clinical services and community health and wellness.  She joined Baptist Health in 1997 as Vice President of Ambulatory Services for Baptist Outpatient Services before being promoted to CEO.
Per Mr. Boulenger, at Baptist Health, we are justifiably proud of the wealth of leadership talent in our organization. Though there were several highly qualified executives considered to serve as my successor at Baptist Hospital, Patricia was a natural choice. She is an exceptional leader with a deep commitment to our mission, a broad perspective of our industry and a steadfast focus on providing an unparalleled patient experience – all cultivated by successfully serving in a variety of clinical and operational roles.
