On May 2, 2015, thousands are expected to come together at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Davie, FL, to take part in the March of Dimes’ annual March for Babies. Registration starts at 7 a.m., with the walk stepping off at 8:30 am. Anyone can sign up to walk and can create a team with family, friends and colleagues. The Run for the Angels 5K to benefit Angel Flight Southeast, takes place on Saturday, May 2, at 7 a.m., at the Pompano Beach Airpark, 1001 NE 10th Avenue. The 3.1 mile race, presented by Sheltair, traverses the taxiways, runways and around the hangars of the airport. The race begins and ends at Sheltair. Registration is available online at Children under 18 are invited to participate with an accompanying adult.
