The Alzheimer’s Association Southeast Florida Chapter in partnership with Homewood Residence will host a ‘Lunch & Learn’ presentation for caregivers and professionals on transforming stress into strength on June 21st from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Homewood Residence (Brookdale Senior Living) located at 2400 S. Congress Avenue in Boynton Beach, FL. The event is free and open to the public; however, registration is required.   

 

Guest speaker Edwige Gilbert, life coach and author of “The Fresh Start Promise: 28 Days to Mind, Body, Spirit Transformation,” will provide helpful tips and techniques for turning your stress into strength. Caring for someone with memory impairment can be quite stressful. The information shared will be of tremendous benefit to caregivers. Lunch will be generously provided by Homewood Residences. Free respite care will be provided on site by trained staff.
