Jupiter Medical Center was recently recognized with three Excellence through Insight awards for achieving top performance in patient satisfaction in the Emergency Department, as well as in the hospital’s Maternity and Orthopedic units. These honors, courtesy of HealthStream, Inc – a leading provider of patient experience surveys and solutions – set Jupiter Medical Center in a class above the many medium size health care organizations evaluated this year.

Broward Health this morning announced the successful pricing and sale of $317 million of tax-exempt Revenue Bonds, Series 2017B (the “Bonds”).  The Bonds were fully subscribed within five hours of being made available yesterday to retail and institutional investors.

Specialty-specific health information technology leader, Modernizing Medicine, Inc., announced its modmed Kiosk solution has won the People’s Choice Award at The 6th UX Awards Summit in Palo Alto, Calif. The Overall People’s Choice Award is chosen by the UX Awards community as the overall favorite, based on highest average vote by popular vote. 

 Four health systems were selected today to advance to the next stage in the process of choosing a partner for Indian River Medical Center.

Adventist Health System, Cleveland Clinic, HCA Healthcare and Orlando Health were chosen to be finalists.
The Indian River Medical Center Board of Directors and the Indian River County Hospital District Trustees each determined finalists from among the 8 organizations that submitted proposals. The boards had agreed that all organizations selected by either board would advance to the next stage of consideration.
