Centric Consulting, LLC, and Tellus, LLC, are announcing the award of a contract to provide the State of Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (the Agency) with an Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system of Home Health Services (home health visits, private duty nursing, and personal care services).

Every day, 10,000 Baby Boomers turn 65 and become eligible for Medicare. A generation numbering 77 million boomers are showing up in the offices of primary care physicians more and more as the effects of aging lead them to seek even greater medical attention.

Imagine if you could book a doctor’s appointment or look for a specific medical service just as easily as you can book a flight or a hotel on Priceline or make a dinner reservation on OpenTable. If all healthcare providers were offering a menu of services and associated prices, consumers might feel more empowered to shop around for their medical services. 

Chris “Chrissie” Evert won the first of her 18 Grand Slam tennis titles in 1974 on the way to becoming one of the most decorated female athletes in history. With a game born on the courts of Fort Lauderdale’s Holiday Park and honed by her father, the late Jimmy Evert, she would go on to win at least one Grand Slam title over the next 13 years, piling up 157 Tour titles.

Scott R. Ford serves as vice president of development and marketing at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, where he focuses on securing major gifts and building strong relationships with donors. He also oversees strategic planning, budget management, marketing and special events. 

Kathy Guido is the chief nursing officer at Palmetto General Hospital. She is responsible for all nursing and patient care functions and services at the hospital. Kathy has been with Tenet for the last seven years. She has over twenty years of nursing leadership experience.

Maribel Torres is the chief nursing officer at Hialeah Hospital. Maribel has over twenty years of clinical and administrative experience in nursing. In her role at Hialeah Hospital, she provides strategic leadership as the senior executive position responsible for all nursing and other designated patient care functions and services within the hospitals organization.

Patti Patrick is the chief strategy officer for St. Mary’s Medical Center and Palm Beach Children’s Hospital. She has been at St. Mary’s for more than 29 years, serving in various leadership roles from senior accountant to director of physician services for both Good Samaritan Medical Center and St. Mary’s. 

Trey Abshier is the chief executive officer at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. Abshier is responsible for overseeing all strategic, operational and clinical activities at the hospital.

Ryan Lee is the chief operating officer at West Boca Medical Center. As COO, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hospital and for providing management oversight for the development of new clinical initiatives.
