Palm Beach County HUB to offer help and hope to those affected by alcohol, drugs and behavioral health disorders
May 26 2021 - Hanley Foundation leadership joined other substance use disorder leaders for a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the Palm Beach County HUB. The new venue will serve as a local resource by and for the community to support people recovering from substance use and behavioral health disorders.

May 25, 2021 – Cardiac and thoracic surgeon Ahmad Hamzah, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Medical Group North. Dr. Hamzah specializes in minimally invasive aortic valve replacement and mitral valve repair, coronary artery bypass, total arterial revascularization, ascending aortic surgery, endovascular thoracic aneurysm repair, and the frozen elephant trunk (FET) procedure. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Arabic.

May 25, 2021 - Innovatus Health, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lee Health, achieved $3.1 million in shared savings for first quarter 2020 performance as a participant in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) Bundled Payments for Care Improvement - Advanced program (BPCI-A).

May 24 2021 -  With increasing demand to help underserved populations gain access to quality healthcare, FoundCare, Inc. has hired local psychiatrist Dr. Serge Thys Sr. as its Director of Psychiatry. Dr. Thys, who had been employed part-time at FoundCare, will now offer his services full-time. Dr. Thys Sr. will continue working at his established office located at 5730 Corporate Way, Suite 100 in West Palm Beach increasing FoundCare’s footprint to seven offices throughout Palm Beach County.

Miramar Park of Commerce donates 50,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space for PPE storage and extra parking for logistics and vaccine roll-out support during the pandemic
May 19, 2021 -  Miramar Park of Commerce, the largest locally owned and managed business park in South Florida, donated 50,000 sq. ft. in temporary space and additional parking to Memorial Healthcare System in an effort to help them meet logistical needs experienced during the height of the pandemic and through the vaccine roll-out. The Park has become a prominent hub of healthcare related companies with Memorial Healthcare most recently renewing its lease for 44,832 sq. ft. of IT flex-office space. That’s part of the more than 200,000 sq. ft. of space Memorial Healthcare leases in the Park.
