Cardiologist Nazar Sharak, DO, Joins Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital

November 5, 2020 - Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital welcomes board-certified cardiologist Nazar Sharak, DO. 
Dr. Sharak is now accepting new patients at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital’s Health and Wellness Center, located at 3450 11th Court, Suite 102 in Vero Beach. To schedule an appointment, call 772.778-8687. 
Dr. Sharak earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University. He completed the Internal Medicine Residency program at Broward General Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale. Dr. Sharak completed the Cardiology Fellowship and Chief Cardiology Fellow programs at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. He is board certified by the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and by the National Board of Echocardiography. 
Dr. Sharak credits his experience in the Army Reserves with helping to steer him towards a career in medicine and in cardiology. He says that returning someone’s quality of life “is the most precious thing you can offer somebody.” He is committed to offering highly personalized, expert cardiac care.
