Experienced, Veteran Breast Surgeon Opens Office in West Palm Beach

Elena Antedomenico Rehl, M.D., FACS, a fellowship-trained breast surgeon awarded the Bronze Star Medal and six other United States Armed Forces honors and recognitions while serving her country in Iraq, Africa, Germany and here in the U.S., has opened an office with Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) in West Palm Beach, FL. Dr. Rehl specializes in breast surgery, breast cancer surgery and benign breast disease, and is on-staff at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach.

Dr. Rehl is certified by the American Board of Surgery. Prior to joining TFPS, Dr. Rehl worked as a breast surgeon at the Center for Breast Care, Memorial Health Anderson Cancer Institute located in Savannah, GA. Dr. Rehl, an award-winning, veteran general surgeon, has held the academic appointment of Assistant Professor of Surgery at Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah, GA. In addition, Dr. Rehl worked professionally as a clinical breast instructor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN, general surgery staff at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Fort Campbell, KY, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Landstuhl, Germany and Wurzburg Army Community Hospital in Wurzburg, Germany.
Dr. Rehl served as both chief of general surgery/trauma surgery staff of the 21st Combat Support Hospital, Al Asad, Iraq, and as general surgery staff during Operation Nomad Fire - In Support of the President of the United States visit to Ghana, Africa. She also served as general surgery staff/trauma surgery staff for the 67th Forward Surgical Team, Airborne in Tallil, Tikrit, Baji and Baghdad, Iraq.
