Tyne Johnson
Patient Access Director
As the patient access director of Delray Medical Center, Tyne Johnson has more than 16 years of patient access experience. In her role Johnson is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the patient access department. Prior to her time at Delray Medical Center, Johnson served as the patient access director at sister hospital, Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. During her tenure at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, Johnson was awarded the 2016 Conifer President’s Award for hitting key metrics in her department. Johnson will receive her bachelor’s degree from Keiser University this December.

Charlie Tyson
Charlie Tyson is the Chief Financial Officer at Florida Medical Center. Tyson has been with Tenet, Florida Medical Center’s parent company, since 2010 when he began his career as an accountant at sister hospital Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. Charlie received dual Master’s Degrees in Accounting and Health Administration from Florida Atlantic University, and his Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Georgia. Tyson is responsible for the Financial Operations of the Hospital including Budgets and Forecasts, Case Management, Materials Management, Revenue Cycle, and the Monthly Preparation of Financial Statements. In his free time, Tyson enjoys playing golf, scuba diving, and spending time with family and friends.
Lori Salas
Senior Director Materials Management
Lori Salas is the senior director of materials management at Florida Medical Center. Lori has strong leadership skills and has held several positions from buyer, senior buyer, materials coordinator in maternity and warehouse supervisor to director. Lori is a firm believer in assisting her employees to ensure that they succeed. Lori has a strong knowledge of supplies and surgical procedures for several different service lines and this helps determine what supplies might be best for use. She is part of several hospital committees. Lori is the chair for the Value Analysis Committee & the group leader for the Materials Management Committee for Miami-Dade & Broward Market within Tenet Health Systems. In her personal time, she loves all sports because she grew up playing them. She also volunteers and fundraises for the American Cancer Society.

Clarissa Coney
Senior Accountant
Clarissa Coney serves as a senior accountant at Hialeah Hospital. In her role, she assists with many activities within the finance department. This includes projects for the assistant controller in helping to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial and statistical data, preparing various financial reports on a daily, weekly, monthly basis, accounts reconciliations/analysis, monthly journal entries posting and special projects as needed. She also works as a liaison between the hospital and other company entities. She has over 20 years of experience in accounting and has spent the last 12 years in the healthcare industry. She started her career with Tenet Healthcare in 2006, working as a accounts payable supervisor at Hialeah Hospital and transitioned to Florida Service Center in Boca Raton, FL. Clarissa also worked as a staff accountant at Tenet Florida Physician Services. Clarissa earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Phoenix in Plantation, FL.
Reynier Perez
Assistant Controller
Reynier Perez serves as an Assistant Controller at Hialeah Hospital. He has over 18 years in healthcare finance and accounting. In his role, he is responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting department from overseeing the financial statements, daily reporting, and budget preparation as they relate to accounting and accounts payable in accordance with Tenet corporate accounting policies. Rey started his healthcare career at Palmetto General Hospital nearly 18 years ago, working as a biller and collector. Then he branched out his healthcare finance career in working for skilled nursing facilities from Business Office Manager, Regional Accounting Manager, Chief of Financial Relations and Regional Field Analyst. He has a strong background in revenue, accounts receivable, auditing, cash flow analysis and financial management; most importantly reducing bad debt expense. Rey earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from DeVry University in Miramar, Florida and is currently working on completing his Master of Science in Accounting by December 2018 from DeVry University Keller School of Management.
Good Samaritan Medical Center
Heather Schneider
Heather Schneider, DBA, is the chief financial officer at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Schneider is responsible for overseeing the financial operations for the 333-bed acute care hospital and its departments.
Prior to coming to Good Samaritan, Schneider served in the same position at Tenet sister hospital Florida Medical Center, a campus of North Shore in Broward County. She also worked as the CFO at The Hospitals of Providence East Campus in El Paso, TX.
Schneider received her Associates Degree from Florida State University in Accounting. She then went on to earn her Bachelors of Science in Business at Florida Institute of Technology. Schneider completed her Master’s in Business at Nova Southeastern University, she also received her Doctorate in Business Health Services from Nova Southeastern University.  
Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center
Taylor Guittap
Taylor Guittap is the controller at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. In her role, Guittap’s responsibilities include forecasting and budgeting the hospital’s expected revenue, expenses and productivity figures for the upcoming year. Prior to her time at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, Guittap worked as an assistant controller at sister hospital Good Samaritan Medical Center. In that position, she provided support to the administrative team and controller to analyze revenues and expenses for the hospital, and was heavily involved in the creation of the hospital’s budget for the upcoming year. Guittap received her Bachelors of Arts and Sciences degree in economics from the University of Miami. She then went on to earn her Master’s in Business Administration from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
Coral Gables Hospital
Julio Aguiar
Director, Materials Management
Julio is the director of materials management at Coral Gables Hospital. He has been at Coral Gables Hospital for fifteen years, and he says that he feels like this is his second home. He is passionate about working at the hospital and helping others. Julio has a strong knowledge of supplies and surgical procedures for several different service lines, and this helps determine what supplies might be best for use. He is a firm believer in team work and is always motivating his team to be the best they can possibly be in and out of work. Julio is married and has two kids. In his spare time, he enjoys everything that has to do with sports.
North Shore Medical Center
Arianna Urquia
Arianna Urquia is the chief financial officer at North Shore Medical Center. With over 12 years of financial healthcare experience, Arianna is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the 337-bed acute care and its departments. She started her career at Tenet Healthcare, North Shore’s parent company, and most recently served as the controller of the hospital where she was responsible for the daily operations of the accounting department. Arianna earned her Master of Business Administration and Bachelor’s in Finance from Florida International University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Lane Harrington
Lane Harrington is the chief nursing officer at North Shore Medical Center. In her role, she provides strategic leadership as the senior executive position responsible for all nursing and other designated patient care functions and services within the hospital organization. Lane assumes the responsibility for assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating nursing practice on a facility level. She ensures high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care. Lane represents nursing on the governing board and at medical staff leadership meetings.
Palmetto General Hospital/Tenet Healthcare’s Miami Dade Market
Oscar Vicente
Oscar Vicente is the Chief Financial Officer at Palmetto General Hospital as well as the Chief Financial Officer Lead for all of Tenet Healthcare’s Miami-Dade hospitals. He has been in his role with Palmetto since 2005. Oscar is responsible for overseeing senior management functions, including financial planning, strategic planning, budgeting and reporting. Oscar has a very successful record as a financial administrator. Prior to his position at Palmetto General Hospital he was vice president of finance, chief financial officer and ethics and compliance officer at a hospital in Broward County. Before his career in healthcare, he served as a manager with Ernst and Young. Oscar is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant and also holds a Certification in Global Management Accounting. He obtained his degrees in finance and accounting from Florida State University.
St. Mary’s Medical Center
Michelle Cartwright
Michelle Cartwright, CPA, is the chief financial officer at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Cartwright is responsible for overseeing the financial operations for the 460-bed acute care hospital and its departments.
Cartwright has developed her entire career as a financial professional at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She started at the hospital as a senior accountant, and was then promoted to the role of assistant controller. More recently, she served as controller for St. Mary’s and Palm Beach Children’s Hospital, and was responsible for the accurate financial reporting of hospital operations.
Cartwright received her Bachelor’s Degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University.
West Boca Medical Center
Michelle Kazek
Michelle Kazek is the controller at West Boca Medical Center. Kazek recently was appointed to her new role in February of 2018. As the controller, Kazek is responsible for the accounting department including general accounting, accounts payable, budgeting and reimbursement. She also handles the reporting of financial and statistical information to the senior management of the hospital, and provides financial advice to the administrative team so they can achieve the objectives to ensure preservation of hospital assets. Prior to her time at West Boca Medical Center, Kazek was the assistant controller at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. Kazek is a certified public accountant and received her bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University.  
Holy Cross Hospital

Ronald C. Brandenburg, II
Vice President/CFO
Ronald C. Brandenburg, II serves as vice president and chief financial officer of Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale. A member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the American Management Association, he has more than 30 years of healthcare experience in accounting, financial decision support, business leadership, and management. Brandenburg previously held the role of chief financial officer at Broward Health Coral Springs. At Holy Cross, he oversees all finance functions including financial decision support, accounting, payroll, managed care, patient access, patient financial services, health information management, strategic planning, technology information services, and supply chain management. Active in the community, Brandenburg is a board member for the Winterfest Boat Parade and a member of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce’s Downtown Council. He also is involved with Junior Achievement, March of Dimes, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and the United Way of Broward County. Brandenburg received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management/finance from Florida Atlantic University.
VITAS Healthcare of Dade-Monroe Counties
Etian Vizoso
Associate General Manager
Etian Vizoso is the associate general manager for VITAS Healthcare in Dade and Monroe counties. He began his career in hospice when he joined VITAS as an LPN in crisis care, and served in various clinical capacities before earning his RN at Keiser University and quickly advancing through management roles.
A veteran of the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Infantry Regiment and father of four, Vizoso is a demonstrated leader as indicated by multiple promotions throughout his career with VITAS, most recently when he was named associate GM in May. Vizoso continues to lead his team by the same fundamental values he learned throughout his career.
“Working in hospice, you have to be all in,” he says. “You only get one chance to get it right. People never forget the day their loved one died. To be given the privilege to make that a positive experience—that is incredible.”
