Internal Medicine Physician Richard Wyderski, MD Joins Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital

August 7, 2020 - Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital welcomes board-certified internal medicine physician Richard J. Wyderski, MD, MMM, FACP.
Dr. Wyderski is now accepting new patients at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital’s Health & Wellness Center located at 3450 11th Court in Vero Beach. To schedule an appointment, call 772.794.3364. 
Dr. Wyderski earned his doctorate of medicine from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and his Master of Medical Management degree from University of Southern California. He completed his residency and fellowship in Internal Medicine at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Wyderski is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Geriatrics Society and the American College of Physicians. He has a subspecialty in Geriatric Medicine.
Prior to joining Indian River Hospital, Dr. Wyderski was the Medical Director of the Acute Care for Elders Unit at Wake Forest Baptist Davie Medical Center in North Carolina where he and his team twice won the Press-Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award as one of the top five percent of hospitals in the country for patient experience.
Dr. Wyderski has taught and mentored US and international residents and students throughout his career, including as a member of the Affiliate Faculty for the Wake Forest School of Medicine Office of Global Health.He has also volunteered and has served as an officer for a number of community and professional organizations including the Dayton and Winston-Salem Units of the NAACP, Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio, Ohio and North Carolina Medical Societies, and founded the Domestic Abuse and Violence Institute of Dayton.
