Kaydance Hope Hired as New Director of Graduate Medical Education at Broward Health Medical Center

Kaydance Hope has been named Director of Graduate Medical Education (GME) at Broward Health Medical Center. As the GME director, she will oversee program leadership and the quality of educational services provided to all medical students, interns, residents, fellows and medical staff. Hope is also responsible for ensuring the residency program’s compliance with regulatory agencies and standards, and assisting in the development of initiatives for faculty recruitment and retention.

Hope has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare, beginning her career with the United States Army. Prior to joining Broward Health, Hope most recently held the position of program manager of clinical education for CHRISTUS Health System. She has also served as GME accreditation coordinator for Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas, training and operations sergeant for the 19th Regiment and safety officer of the Texas State Guard, and education coordinator and training administrator for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center’s Department of Plastic Surgery in Dallas.
Hope has a B.S. in healthcare administration from Purdue Global University and holds various certifications, including the FEMA Advanced Professionals Series Standards of Excellence and American Red Cross Shelter Management certificates. She is also a Texas Emergency Tracking Network Certified Operator.
