Leading By Example: Greystone’s Day of Service

Greystone Healthcare Management strives to lead by example, and demonstrates leadership in the community through the company’s annual Day of Service event. Each year Greystone partners with Habitat for Humanity’s A Brush With Kindness program, designed to improve and transform families and communities.
This year Greystone closed its corporate office on July 17th for a companywide volunteer effort to refurbish four homes in the East Hillsborough area of Tampa, FL. “Hands-on service truly drives home the impact and necessity of community efforts like this one,” said Connie Bessler, CEO of Greystone Healthcare Management. “We strive to truly improve the lives of others as an organization, demonstrated through our corporate citizenship and commitment to our community.”
Greystone’s 120 volunteers included associates from all divisions of Greystone’s services, including corporate, skilled nursing, and home health staff. Working with low-income homeowner’s, volunteers renovated each home through painting, general exterior cleanup, minor repairs and landscaping.
