Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

June 6, 2019 - Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center names Tammy Razmic as its chief operating officer.  In this role, Razmic will manage the daily operations and oversee the development and implementation of long-range plans, goals and objectives for Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center.

Razmic brings over 25 years of healthcare industry experience to South Florida.  Prior to coming to Palm Beach Gardens, Razmic spent the past four years serving as the chief operating officer and financial officer at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in North Virginia.  While at Inova Fair Oaks, some of Razmic’s accomplishments included helping the hospital earn an “A” grade from the Leapfrog group for seven straight years, and helped the hospital get named to Becker’s Hospital Review 2018 list of “100 Great Community Hospitals” in the U.S. for five straight years.  
 
Before working for Inova Fair Oaks, Razmic served as chief financial officer at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C.  In that role, Razmic’s responsibilities included overseeing the financial operations, case management, and information technology for the hospital.  
Razmic earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas before completing her Masters in Health Administration from Ohio University.

Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center has been recognized by The Joint Commission as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures for four years in a row and by Healthgrades® as a Five-Star Recipient for the Treatment of Heart Failure for 10 consecutive years (2007-2016).
