University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies Offers First Nurse Anesthesia BSN-DNP Degree in Florida

The University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies (UMSONHS) announces the opening of the BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Track. The DNP program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and the Nurse Anesthesia specialty has also been accredited by the Council on Anesthesia (COA). The UMSONHS is Florida’s first institution of higher education and one of only 12 in the nation currently accredited to offer the BSN-DNP degree, Nurse Anesthesia track. The BSN-DNP degree is a terminal, practice-oriented offering devised to prepare baccalaureate-educated registered nurses to become advanced practice nurses to serve as transformational leaders within healthcare systems.
