West Boca Medical Center Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

West Boca Medical Center appoints George Rizzuto as its new chief executive officer. Rizzuto has more than 35 years of hospital leadership experience as a healthcare executive with extensive experience in hospital operations and finance, as well as public accounting.

Rizzuto will be replacing longtime CEO Mitch Feldman, who is retiring from West Boca Medical Center and Tenet Healthcare after close to 30 years of service to the organization. Feldman’s strong work ethic, knowledge and determination to deliver high quality care, built a strong and successful foundation at West Boca Medical Center.
Rizzuto returns to Tenet from a former sister facility, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA, where he served as the CEO, and prior to that, chief financial officer of the hospital. Rizzuto also served as vice president of operations at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Prior to this, George served in leadership roles at Central Montgomery Medical Center, Warminster Hospital and Abington Memorial Hospital.
Rizzuto graduated from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA, before earning his Master’s in Business Administration from West Chester University in West Chester, PA.
