Zalucki achieves Fellowship in the American College of Medical Practice Executives

Paula M. Zalucki, FACHE, FACMPE, Senior Managing Consultant with Berkeley Research Group has become a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE). ACMPE is the certification entity of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). Fellowship in ACMPE’s industry-leading program demonstrates mastery and expertise in the profession of medical practice management.
To achieve Fellowship, Zalucki first earned the Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) designation by passing rigorous examinations that assess knowledge of the broad scope of medical practice management, as outlined in the Body of Knowledge for Medical Practice Management. This includes business operations, financial management, human resources management, information management, organizational governance, patient care systems, quality management and risk management. In addition, Zalucki completed a minimum of 50 continuing education credit hours to achieve CMPE status. To earn Fellowship, Zalucki submitted a professional paper, “Factors Contributing to Financial Losses Among Hospital-Employed Physician Groups”, documenting the objectives and results of an investigation into a health-care management topic.
Today, MGMA membership is comprised of more than 6,600 individuals who have attained CMPE or ACMPE Fellow status or who seek certification.
Zalucki also obtained Fellow status with the American College of Healthcare Executives.  With dual board certification, Zalucki provides expertise in both health care organization and physician group operations.  Zalucki has been the leading consultant within Berkeley Research Group’s Physician Practice Management consulting team since November 2015.  She currently oversees performance improvement activities with large medical groups and hospital systems throughout the United States.  Prior to her employment with Berkeley Research Group, she has previously held positions with another worldwide consulting firm, in addition to executive positions at hospitals and health systems in Florida, Georgia and Texas.  Zalucki resides in Jupiter, Florida.
