The Annex of the South Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center in Miami is still in the process of completing its successful opening thanks to the collaborative efforts of the many individuals at both the facility and corporate levels with major support provided by the sister facility staff at the South Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center. The success of this start up in a short period of time could not have been accomplished without the dedicated efforts of these key individuals who were willing to devote their time and efforts to this opening, many with other full-time responsibilities at other facilities.
SFETC Governing Council Members (l-r) Anthony Jordon, HR Director; Michele Rosario, DON; David Bryant, Chief of Security; Jim Ledbetter, Ph.D., Hospital Administrator; Tony DeValle, Risk Management; and Daisy Baez, Assistant Administrator.
Dr. Jim Ledbetter, the incoming hospital administrator of The Annex, extends his sincere appreciation to those individuals for establishing an excellent base for the future success of The Annex. With the hiring of a strong team of managers, as well as employees at all levels, this ensures that patients receive the level of care in a secure and safe setting to provide them with the greatest opportunity to return them to a productive role in society.
While there are too many individuals to thank by name, it is noteworthy to point out that the support of SFETC Administrator Lee Packer and her excellent staff was critical in the start-up process.
The corporate support from all departments, combined with the focused leadership of Vice President George Gintoll, enabled The Annex to quickly become operational.
Goals were set and met, including the hiring of only the best employees available. This not only insures the success of The Annex, but aids in the growth of GEO Care, Inc. as a premier provider of behavioral health services to specialty populations.
