Bradley S. Feuer, D.O., J.D., was recently promoted to the rank of auxiliary Lieutenant Colonel and appointed to the position of Chief Surgeon in the Florida Highway Patrol. Dr. Feuer, a physician and attorney who is the Regional Director of Medical Education of the Palm Beach Centre for Graduate Medical Education, an alliance of Columbia Hospital, JFK Medical Centre and Palms West Hospital, was appointed the first Troop Surgeon in the State of Florida Highway Patrol in 2003. During this time period he created a voluntary medical unit within the State Patrol and has volunteered hundreds of hours in assisting the Florida Highway Patrol in such activities as responding to sick or injured troopers, directing a newly-formed Critical Incident Stress Management Team and serving as Medical Director of the Troop’s Tactical Response Team.
