Millions of Americans are affected by stroke each year. In order to stay at the forefront of stroke causes and treatment, Broward Health North (BHN) will host the fourth annual Florida Stroke Symposium for healthcare professionals on May 6 and 7 at the Embassy Suites in Deerfield Beach.

Leading stroke experts representing top medical schools will arrive from across the country to provide interactive presentations, illustrating the most up-to-date identification, evaluation and treatment options for stroke patients.

Jonathan Harris, M.D., neurologist and medical director of BHN’s Comprehensive Stroke Program, is the course director.

This event is held in partnership with the American Heart Association. Attendees will receive 12 CME & Contact Hour credits.
