Dr. Audrea Vaugh, Dr. Estelamari Rodriguez, Dr. Raul Grosz

The DCMA Physicians’ Team, composed of Raul Grosz, M.D.; Estelamari Rodriguez, M.D.; and Audrea Vaugh, D.O., presented their project on COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy Reasons, obstacles, and solutions. As part of the project, the doctors developed a webinar that will be shared on the DCMA digital network to educate other colleagues on how to address this situation with patients.

“The experience of being part of a group of physician leaders representing the Dade County Medical Association has taught me how important is the leadership role of physicians in healthcare. The opportunity to do research, interact ideas with other professionals, and present our projects allowed us to learn and understand that working together will accomplish our goal of providing better quality healthcare to our patients, ” said Dr. Raul Grosz.

The PLA is a program in which clinicians learn to improve their leadership and communication skills, enabling them to improve organizational management skills, develop ongoing relationships with colleagues, and strengthen their leadership roles in the diverse communities of South Florida.

This program is conducted under the auspices of The Physicians Foundation and led by Palm Beach County Medical Society/Services in association with the Broward County Medical Association and the Dade County Medical Association. The program is endorsed by the Florida Medical Association.

The PLA program is a benefit to members of each county association at no cost through a grant from The Physicians Foundation Applications.
