Donna Sparks, R.N., has been promoted to assistant vice president for Nursing for Baptist Hospital.Sparks joined Baptist Hospital in 2007 as director of the adult Emergency Center. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University, has a master’s degree in nursing from Indiana University, and is currently completing a doctorate in nursing practice at Rush University in Chicago. She is a Board-certified emergency nurse and a certified advance nurse executive from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of the Florida Organization of Nurse Executives, Emergency Nurses’ Association and the Florida Nurses’ Association.
