August 17, 2022 – Safe Haven For Newborns are excited to announce our 10th Annual Safe Haven For Newborns Gala to take place on Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 at the Hilton Downtown Miami. Our first Gala since the Pandemic. We are once again honored to have Lauren Pastrana of CBS4 News as our Mistress of Ceremony. The highlight of the evening will be hearing the moving and heartfelt testimonies from Safe Haven babies now growing up and loved by their forever families. We will start our evening with an amazing silent auction reception, followed by dinner and dancing.
This year we will honor Thomas Abraham with the Monarch Award , recognizing The Anthony R. Abraham Foundation for truly making a difference in the lives of so many. We are so very appreciative for the generous support of the Foundation. Please to see the link below with heartfelt messages…. “Why I support A Safe Haven for Newborn”:

Our Mission:
As you already know, our mission is to save lives; the mother and her newborn by supporting distressed pregnant girls and women from all walks of life in their time of need/crisis. Our goal is to assist them to have a healthy pregnancy, a healthy baby and to offer referral resources such as counseling, parenting, health related issues, adoption of their choice, baby items, shelters and the confidential Safe Haven for Newborns option. Through our education programs, awareness campaigns, social media platforms, partnerships with hospitals, fire/ems, collaboration with community organizations, direct assistance and 24/7 multilingual confidential helpline, these babies have a future. To date, we have saved 363 precious newborns (355 in Florida, 7 in other states and one precious newborn in the country of Honduras) that will receive lots of love with their forever families. We are very happy to share that over 5,000 women have been helped in their time of need. Your support will enable us to continue our life saving mission, giving the newborn, a chance for a future. Every life is precious.
We do not charge for any of our services and rely mainly on the generosity of individuals, corporate donors, foundations and our annual fundraising events.-Gala, Golf Tournament and Run/Walk.
We know that there are many worthy causes to support, and I am very grateful for the trust and confidence expressed by so many..
