Florida Medical Center, a campus of North Shore, accommodates the needs of the aging community with the opening of a Signature Senior Care Unit and newly renovated Senior Emergency Room.
The Senior Care Unit features a multidisciplinary team that consists of board-certified geriatricians, registered nurses, therapists, pharmacists, dieticians and case managers. The unit includes an activity room and private patient rooms with slip resistant wood flooring and soft lighting. The area is designed to provide a soothing and familiar environment for patients.
