Jackson Health System Names Steven M. Klein as New Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

The Jackson Health System has named Steven M. Klein as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Klein joined the Jackson Health System in 2002 as Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of its Surgical Hospital, and has quickly risen to his expanded role as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to joining the Jackson Health System, Klein was Chief Operating Officer at Boca Raton Community Hospital, and previously, he was Chief Executive Officer and COO of North Shore Medical Center in Miami.

Klein is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a Director of the American Cancer Society Miami-Dade unit and a member of the South Florida Regents Advisory Council. He received both his undergraduate degree and M.P.H. in Medical and Hospital Administration at University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA.
