Katherine Avendano is the Chief Operating Officer at North Shore Medical Center. In her role, she is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 337-bed acute care hospital and oversees all ancillary and support services departments. She is committed to working closely with the staff, and physicians to ensure the patients are receiving the best care. Katherine started her career with Tenet Healthcare in 2013 and previously served as the assistant administrator at Hialeah Hospital. Katherine received a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master in Health Administration from the University of Florida. On her personal time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
