The Broward County Medical Association has agreed to serve as the Housing Organization for the Broward Medical Response Unit. The City of Fort Lauderdale as well as the Mayor’s Office of Broward County will also be partnering with us. Per our mission statement we are dedicated to disaster preparedness and response; specifically the recruitment, credentialing and management of health care volunteers. Our purpose is to assist the local Department of Health and other municipal partners in providing for the medical needs of our community.
