Coral Springs Medical Center and Weston Regional HealthPark CEO Debbie Mulvihill, who spent nearly 11 years with the North Broward Hospital District, recently announced her resignation as Chief Executive Officer.

“Debbie has been a wonderful asset to Coral Springs Medical Center and the Weston Regional HealthPark,” said Wil Trower, CEO of the North Broward Hospital District. “We were fortunate to have her as a leader in our health system. She will be missed.”

During her tenure as CEO, Mulvihill led Coral Springs Medical Center to a score of 99 and Weston Regional HealthPark to a score of 100 on the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations survey. She was instrumental in establishing several new clinical programs to meet the needs of western Broward County. She actively recruited physicians to the medical center and oversaw the construction of the medical office building located on the campus of Coral Springs Medical Center. She is involved in a variety of local and national organizations and has nearly 30 years experience as a nurse and senior executive leader.

Trower will be appointing an interim CEO for Coral Springs Medical Center and Weston Regional HealthPark in the near future in order to ensure a smooth transition.
