Valerie Mallette, RN, BSN, has been appointed Chief Clinical Officer for Kindred Hospital of Ft. Lauderdale. Mallette began her career 34 years ago at North Shore Medical Center. Mallette worked as a Registered Nurse in Pediatrics, Medical Surgical Nursing and Oncology. Mallette was Director of Medical Surgical Services at North Shore Medical Center and Director of Nursing at Hollywood Medical Center. She worked as a JCAHO Consultant for Palmetto Hospital. Ms Mallette also has worked as a Legal Nurse Consultant for the offices of Shook, Hardy, and Bacon, LLP.
