Westside Regional Medical Center (WRMC) has recently appointed Mary Lynn Swartz as the hospitals new Chief Executive Officer.
For the last three years, Mary Lynn served as the CEO of Northwest Medical Center (HCA) in Margate, FL. Prior to that position she served as the hospitals Chief Operating Officer for seven years and previous to being COO she was the Chief Nursing Officer for two years at Northwest. Mary Lynn has served in many nurse executive positions prior to her move to Northwest Medical Center 12 years ago. Her area of nursing expertise is emergency services and trauma.
Mary Lynn earned her Nursing Degree from The Christ School of Nursing in Cincinnati, OH, her Bachelor of Arts, Management of Health Services form Ottawa University, Kansas City, KS and her Master of Science, Executive Medical Management from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale. She is involved in various organizations including the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Heart Association Community Advisory Board and the HCA Corporate Ethics and Compliance Steering Committee.
