Broward Health IT Department Announces Two New Appointments

Broward Health IT department has named Robert Glazer manager of enterprise IT operations. His main responsibilities include the overall IT operational structure and Network Operations Center for Broward Health, and the management and strategic development of IT operations across all Broward Health facilities.

“Robert has been employed at Broward Health for over ten years and has consistently demonstrated outstanding technical abilities in several high visibility projects,” said Ronaldo Montmann, director of technical services.

James Orr has assumed the position of manager of desktop services for Broward Health IT department. In his new role, Orr will be responsible for many new duties including providing technical leadership in the standardization of desktops, thin clients, mobile PCs, PDAs, printers and peripherals. In addition, Orr will oversee the Help Desk.

“James started at Broward Health IT’s Help Desk more than 11 years ago. He was then promoted to a rollout/field support coordination position and most recently as a project manager where he played a key project lead role in Broward General Medical Center’s Atrium expansion,” said Montmann. “Both he and Robert have earned the respect and admiration of the entire Broward Health management team.”
