The nurses at Miami Childrens Hospital have done it again. The American Nurses Credentialing Centers (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program® for excellence in nursing services has once again designated Miami Childrens as a Magnet hospital.
According to the ANCC, the leading nursing credentialing organization in the United States, Magnet designation is widely accepted as the gold standard of patient care. Only 3 percent of hospitals nationwide have achieved Magnet designation. Miami Childrens Hospital first received this recognition in 2004.
