Fernando Martinez, CTO/CSO, Broward Health, Named Southeast Information Security Executive of the Year

Fernando Martinez, chief technology and security officer for Broward Health, was named the Southeast’s Information Security Executive of the Year at the Executive Alliance award’s gala. Martinez had impressed the judges with his vision for the future, ability to drive change and deliver results, and his information security mentoring in the community.

Martinez, who joined Broward Health in 2007, has 32 years experience in healthcare with more than 12 years in extensive information technology (IT) leadership positions. He is an accomplished technologist and IT security professional.
