August 11, 2023  Board-certified cardiologist Ricardo Luis de la Villa Pagán, M.D., recently joined Baptist Health. Dr. de la Villa Pagán specializes in non-invasive cardiology and provides care for patients with a variety of heart conditions. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Prior to joining Baptist Heath, Dr. de la Villa Pagán completed his cardiology fellowship through the Columbia University Division of Cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He earned chief fellow of cardiology for his outstanding clinical work and commitment to quality care.

Committed to improving all aspects of patient care, Dr. de la Villa Pagán has been involved in both clinical research and quality improvement initiatives. His work has been published in multiple medical journals, including Journal of the American College of Cardiology, the Journal of Cardiac Failure and Circulation. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. de la Villa Pagán earned his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico’s School of Medicine before completing his internal medicine residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s and West.

Through a combination of advanced therapies and compassionate care, Dr. de la Villa Pagán prioritizes all aspects of his patients’ health.
