Orthopaedic surgeon and spine specialist Kalman D. Blumberg, M.D., has joined Holy Cross Medical Group.
Since 2009, Dr. Blumberg has been a physician with Florida Spine Specialists with offices in Fort Lauderdale, Marathon and Key West. He also previously was affiliated with Broward Health Medical Center and Broward Health Imperial Point in Fort Lauderdale and Lower Keys Medical Center in Key West.
Dr. Blumberg graduated from the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine degree with research distinction. He then completed an internship in the department of surgery followed by a residency in the department of orthopaedics and rehabilitation, both at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA, and a fellowship in spine surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He graduated cum laude and with departmental honors from from Tulane University in New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and completed some of his undergraduate coursework at Vanderbilt University, University of Florida and Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel.
