Annual reception acknowledges more than 250 guests
JUPITER, Fla. – March 11, 2024 – Recently, more than 250 guests gathered to celebrate a momentous fundraising year for Jupiter Medical Center, the area’s only independent, not-for-profit hospital. The annual celebration is hosted in honor of Jupiter Medical Center Foundation’s Lifetime Donors, who have generously supported the hospital’s mission.
“As we celebrate our 45th anniversary, it is important we look back on where we started while also looking ahead to what we can achieve together,” said Amit Rastogi, MD, MHCM, President and CEO of Jupiter Medical Center. “Jupiter Medical Center started as a 34-bed facility serving less than 2,000 patients a year, and today, we are proud to be a leading regional medical center, serving 400,000 patients annually. Thanks to your generosity, we know we will continue to achieve even more together.”
The hospital and foundation teams then shared a long list of accomplishments, including the renovation of the Petrocelli Emergency Center, the opening of the new Johnny and Terry Gray Surgical Institute, the recruitment of new physicians, the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment, and more. It was noted that these key milestones could only have been achieved with the community’s support.
