June 18, 2024— Dr. Aymara Fernandez de la Vara is a board-certified internal medicine physician with over 10 years of experience in primary care. She sees patients at the FIU Health Faculty Group Practice on FIU’s main campus. As an assistant professor at the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, she also mentors third-year medical students in the Internal Medicine Clerkship, imparting her knowledge and passion for medicine to our future doctors.
