February 11, 2025 HCA Florida Aventura Hospital today announced that it has been named a 2024 Human Experience (HX) Guardian of Excellence Award® winner by Press Ganey, the global leader in healthcare experience solutions and services. This award is part of Press Ganey’s annual ranking of the top hospitals and health systems in the country, according to performance in patient experience.

As a winner of the Press Ganey HX Guardian of Excellence Award®, HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is in the top 5% of healthcare providers in delivering patient experience in the last year. To reach this milestone, each patient’s overall experience was obtained before discharge from inpatient behavioral health by a patient experience champion. The positives and opportunities identified by the registered nurse champions helped shape the delivery of services to future patients.

Press Ganey works with more than 41,000 healthcare facilities in its mission to reduce patient suffering and enhance caregiver resilience to improve the overall safety, quality and experience of care.

“HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is setting the standard for excellence in patient experience,” said Patrick T. Ryan, CEO and Chairman at Press Ganey. “They are leading the way by turning words into action and creating a culture where every interaction is an opportunity to make a positive impact. It’s clear they’re committed to making a difference.”

“We are very proud of this inaugural recognition of our inpatient behavioral health services by Press Ganey.
