March 12, 2025- Last month Miami Lighthouse celebrated the dedication of our Blind Soccer Mini Pitch marking a major milestone in our comprehensive blind soccer initiative. Miami Lighthouse has developed the first comprehensive blind soccer curriculum for young early learners, ages 1 to 4 and has the first dedicated blind soccer pitch in Miami.

Our Miami Lighthouse Academy is offering blind soccer twice a week to provide even more opportunities for growth and engagement among our Academy students. We will be expanding our Miami Lighthouse Academy to include third grade in the Fall. In addition to learning blind soccer skills, our students will be taught the academic foundations in Braille and prepare them for standardized testing, making sure they have the tools they need to succeed.
