Nancy Batista-Rodriguez serves as the CEO of Baptist Outpatient Services, an innovative and fast-growing entity of Baptist Health. Since stepping into the role in 2018, she has spearheaded efforts to expand access to high-quality, same-day care across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. She has been instrumental to the development of ambulatory surgery centers, medical centers and Baptist Health’s first standalone cardiac ambulatory surgery center. She also led the expansion of emergency services and the growth of online urgent care through the PineApp, Baptist Health’s telehealth platform. Since beginning her journey with Baptist Health in 2002, Batista-Rodriguez has held key roles across imaging, endoscopy, sleep and surgical services. Today, she drives strategic outpatient growth, chairs the Hispanic Business Resource Group and serves as executive lead of the Emergency Department Operations Council. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business and health services administration from Florida International University.
