October 11, 2025 – HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital welcomed high school students from across the Treasure Coast for a unique, interactive event designed to introduce them to the world of robotic surgery. The hands-on experience gave students the chance to test drive the hospital’s cutting-edge robotic surgical systems, learn about their capabilities, and engage directly with experienced surgeons.
During the event, students participated in demonstrations and simulations that highlighted how robotic technology is revolutionizing surgical procedures, enabling more precision, smaller incisions, and faster patient recovery times. The students also had opportunities to ask questions and hear from surgeons about their careers, daily work, and the growing role of technology in medicine.
