November 13, 2025 – UCF Lake Nona Hospital, part of HCA Florida Healthcare, today announced it has received a grade of A from The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit watchdog organization focused on patient safety. The top national ranking reflects the hospital’s commitment to high-quality patient care and protecting its patients from infections, injuries and accidents.
This latest accolade is among several awards and recognitions for safety, quality of healthcare, and patient experience UCF Lake Nona Hospital has received from state and industry groups since it opened in Lake Nona’s Medical City in 2021. In addition to this week’s A rating from The Leapfrog Group, awards and accolades include:

- 2024 Emergency Nurses Association Lantern Award for Excellence in Emergency Nursing
