Dr. Mohamed El Zaeedi is a thoracic surgeon with expertise in advanced minimally invasive robotic surgery to treat lung, esophageal and mediastinal conditions. The robotic platform allows him to perform even the most complex operations with precision, meaning less pain and quicker recoveries for patients at Memorial Cancer Institute.

“A cancer diagnosis is a life-changing event for patients and their families,” said Dr. El Zaeedi, whose fellowship training was completed at NYU School of Medicine. “Our thoracic surgery team works closely with a multidisciplinary group of lung cancer experts, including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and pulmonologists, to expedite the time to diagnosis and treatment.
