Stephanie Benjamin, R.N., is lead educator in the behavioral health unit at Broward Health Medical Center, bringing nearly 30 years of nursing experience that began in Jamaica.
With expertise spanning administration, clinical care and education, Benjamin is certified in emergency and mental health nursing. As a clinical specialist/nurse clinician, she trains new hires, leads continuing education and supports outpatient services through Broward Health Medical Center’s Integrated Medication-Assisted Treatment Response (iMATR) program, strengthening continuity of care.
Her transition into the clinical specialist/nurse clinician role came in 2022 after being recognized for her ability to simplify complex topics. Today, she educates more than 120 staff and helps oversee two 30-bed units.
Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Service Administration and is currently pursuing her master’s in healthcare administration, reflecting her commitment to lifelong learning.
