A notable group among this year’s graduates was the Family Medicine Residency Class, which marked a significant milestone as the program’s 30th graduating group. The ceremony honored the achievements of the graduating residents while recognizing the faculty members, chief residents and mentors whose dedication helped guide the next generation of physicians. The event celebrated the commitment, resilience and professional growth demonstrated by residents throughout their training journey.

The graduations reflect Broward Health’s ongoing commitment to advancing medical education through strategic investments and program expansion. Recent enhancements include new GME spaces at Broward Health North and Broward Health Medical Center, as well as continued growth across the health system’s residency and fellowship programs.
Later this month, Broward Health will welcome a new class of residents during its annual White Coat Ceremony, symbolizing the beginning of their medical training and creating a full-circle moment as one class graduates and another embarks on its journey.
“Medical education has always been a personal passion of mine, and it’s exciting to see that commitment continue to grow across our organization,” said Shane Strum, president and CEO of Broward Health. “Every graduating class represents the future of medicine, and I’m proud that Broward Health plays a role in shaping that future.”
Broward Health congratulates all graduating residents and fellows across its GME programs. The health system is proud to celebrate this important milestone and looks forward to the positive impact these physicians will make in the communities they serve.
