June 18, 2026- Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches hosted their record-breaking 13th Annual Better Ball Golf Invitational on May 15, 2026, at The Park West Palm. Exceeding previous records with a fundraising total of over $370,000, the event’s success will allow the agency to pursue every avenue to strengthen the safety and stability of vulnerable families in Palm Beach County.
Guests enjoyed a lively day on the greens at the premier 18-hole course, beginning with lunch and warm-ups on the driving range before the 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. The tournament’s better ball format encouraged friendly competition, culminating in an awards ceremony recognizing standout performances. The foursome of Hampton Beebe, Cam Kuchar, Talan Wilkes, and Mason Tome won the tournament.
“Thanks to our dedicated event committee and committed supporters, this year’s tournament was a tremendous success,” said Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches CEO Matt Constantine. “This event is not only a great day on the course, but a powerful reminder of what can happen when our community comes together to support families working toward stability and independence. The tournament’s results allow us to continue charging ahead to best serve our families and kids.”
The Better Ball Golf Invitational was made possible through the hard work and dedication of Golf Committee members Sean Bresnan (Board Member), Jeff Preston (Board Member), Frank Bresnan, Michael Calkin, Joe Carron, Tom Frankel, Ned Grace, Joe LaRocca, Jr., Gary Pohrer, and Will Ryan.
Founded in 1983, Adopt-A-Family works to strengthen families by promoting stability and self-sufficiency through programs that include emergency shelter, affordable housing, financial assistance, and wraparound services that include case management, job coaching, and mental health support. Serving more than 1,200 families each year, the organization plays a vital role in the community by addressing immediate needs and empowering parents and children to build a pathway toward long-term success and independence.
