Mary Anne Johnson, RN, BSN, CIC, COHN-S, has joined Lower Keys Medical Center in Key West as its new Infection Control and Associate Health Manager. She has been a nurse for 27 years and most of her experience has been at a rural hospital in the mountains of North Carolina.Johnson has been involved in infection control for the past 11 years, is CIC (Certified in Infection Control) and COHN-S (Certification in Occupational Health Nursing – Specialist). She also holds a graduate certificate in Sharps Injury Prevention and continues to be a current member of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control (APIC) and also the Association of Occupational Professionals in Healthcare (AOHP).
