Alexis Bustamante, MSHRM, PHR, has been named vice president of human resources at HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital, bringing experience in colleague engagement, leadership development and workforce strategy from her previous role at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital.
jUNE 30, 2026 – HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital has appointed Alexis Bustamante, MSHRM, PHR, as vice president of human resources.
Alexis joins HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital from HCA Florida Aventura Hospital, where she has served as senior human resources business partner supporting the 493-bed facility and its approximately 1,600 colleagues. In her role, she led initiatives focused on colleague engagement, recognition, leadership development and workplace safety.

Alexis earned a master’s degree in human resource management and a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from Florida International University. She is also certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
